As we see the last few days of the month dwindle away I wish to share with you some special things we have been doing in class.
We did a directed step by step drawing of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I think we have some budding artists in the class. Check them out.

In writing we met with a partner to compare our collections. Each child got to look at each other's collection and write about it. Here we are comparing them and helping out each other on our writing.
In math we look our skills of number bonds, word problems, and composing and decomposing numbers and played with some great winter themed math centers aligned to our Common Core and EngageNY math series.
In science we blasted off into space in our visiting Star Lab.
On Thursday we met again with Mrs. William's class to work on a S.T.E.M. activity. This month's challenge was to build the tallest snowman as possible.
